If you were prescribed medication to be taken by mouth to reduce anxiety before your dental appointment:

• Take the medication as directed by Dr. Thousand.
• With oral sedation medications there is generally no need to fast prior to the appointment.
• Do not drive to your appointment, this medication impress your ability to function normally.  Have someone drive you to and from your appointment.
